THE PERSON BEHIND THE VISITS

Who’s caring
for your dog?

My name is Adam. I was born and raised in MN, and after working in business management and spending a decade in finance, I chose to spend my time doing something I find truly rewarding: caring for dogs.

Five years of experience
Providing personalized dog care for families.

Established client references
Available upon request.

I keep this business small and personal, building lasting relationships with a select group of dog families and households. Knowing your pets and their routines helps me provide thoughtful care and stay available to the families who trust me.

This work also gives me the flexibility to build a good life with my own family. Keeping things simple allows me to put my time and attention into the dogs, the people, and the relationships that make it worthwhile.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before we say hello.

View the care flyer ↗
Are you insured?

Yes. I carry insurance for professional in-home pet care.

What happens if my pet is injured, becomes ill, or there’s an emergency at home?

Before booking, we’ll agree on an emergency-care plan and complete the required emergency-contact, care-authorization, and financial-responsibility agreements. I’ll need your veterinarian’s details and a trusted local emergency contact who can be reached if you’re unavailable.

We’ll discuss how to handle illness, injury, an urgent veterinary visit, or an emergency in your home, including contact attempts, transport arrangements, and responsibility for veterinary and related costs. Please share any medical conditions, medications, or specific instructions in advance.

If I find an urgent situation, I’ll contact you and follow our agreed plan. If you can’t be reached, that plan will guide the next steps so needed care isn’t delayed. For an immediate threat to people or the home, I’ll contact the appropriate emergency services.

Can a package include several dogs or cats?

Yes, when their care can reasonably fit within the scheduled visits. Dogs and cats in the same household can share a package price, with their number and needs agreed upon before booking. A 30-minute visit is shared care time, rather than 30 minutes per pet. A longer visit may be a better fit for a busier household.

Do weekends, holidays, or extra fees cost more?

No. The displayed prices include taxes and fees, with no weekend or holiday surcharge. Optional extended care and the package 3 backup visit are priced separately and agreed upon in advance.

Are tips expected?

No tips are requested or expected. There’s no awkward gratuity prompt. If you choose to tip for an exceptional experience, that’s entirely up to you.

Are walks guaranteed with every visit?

Walks are discussed before booking based on your dogs’ ages, temperaments, number, and care needs. The “Please Stay Longer” add-on allows time for an optional 15–20 minute walk when appropriate. We agree on what fits rather than rushing their care.

Do you stay overnight or visit while someone is home?

This is scheduled visit care, with no overnight stays. Visits are arranged for times when no people are in the home. We confirm timing and access before care begins.

What if my trip runs late or spans several days?

We agree on each day’s visits and the complete price before care begins. For “We Aren’t Home” clients, the optional Backup 4th Visit provides a 10–15 minute return-day stop for +$25, once per care period by agreement and subject to availability. It includes flight tracking.

What about medications, nervous pets, or other animals?

Please tell me about medication and behavior or handling concerns before we meet. Straightforward medication can be included by agreement. Birds, fish, exotic, or other pets need a separate conversation to establish whether I can meet their needs.

Can you help with a few household basics?

Bringing in mail, watering a few plants, or setting out a trash bin can be discussed when they fit alongside your pets’ care. We’ll also agree on an emergency contact, veterinarian details, and an urgent-care plan before your first visit.

Will you transport my animal to or from a vet or groomer?

Prices shown do not include a service for animal transport. Please discuss any specific additional needs directly with the owner upon contact.

Does sending a message confirm a booking?

No. A message starts the conversation. Care is confirmed after we agree on availability, care needs, visit windows, the total price, cancellation terms, and access arrangements.
